In fact, Phonak successfully tested its Audeo Life hearing aids in many wet environments, including saltwater, soapy water, and freshwater beyond IP68 specifications to be submerged up to 1.64 feet. In other words, Phonak Audeo Life can be confidently worn in the shower, during walks on the beach, while sweating doing an intense workout, or even dancing in the rain.

Advanced noise cancelation, motion-sound correction (4D hearing), speech focusing, and feedback reduction help the wearer hear sounds crisp, natural sounds and afford enhanced speech understanding in noisy, quiet, or motion-active sound environments.

Phonak Audeo Life hearing aids are rechargeable. Using the included charger case, the hearing aids can be charged for 3 hours for approximately 24 hours of hearing aid use; or, for a short 30-minute “quick” charge, for up to 6 hours of hearing aid use!

New, smart “tap control” allows hands-free interactions with a paired Bluetooth-enabled smartphone by tapping on the hearing aids. Moreover, answering calls or giving advanced smartphone commands (via Apple Siri on an iPhone, or Google Assistant on an Android smartphone) requires only a tap or two on the hearing aid.

Ask a question, get directions, call a contact, and much more just by tapping on the hearing aid and saying a corresponding command.

For adjusting volume and other settings, the Phonak myPhonak app (obtained from Apple Store for iPhone or Google Play Store for Android smartphones) allows the wearer to change settings right from their smartphone.
